Currently, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Coordinator to join our Commercial team in Calgary. This role serves as a critical link between our Sales and Operations groups, helping ensure seamless communication, exceptional customer service, and successful day-to-day execution across our business.
This is a fast-paced, high-touch role ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys problem solving, and wants to build a long-term career in the transportation, logistics, and energy industry. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and key customer contacts to support operational planning, issue resolution, forecasting, reporting, and commercial execution.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to think proactively and critically in a dynamic environment.
Duties Include:
Sales & Operations Coordination
- Act as a key liaison between the Sales and Operations teams
- Support day-to-day communication regarding customer activity, operational updates, and service requirements
- Assist in identifying and resolving operational or customer service issues
- Participate in daily operational meetings and communicate updates internally
Customer Support & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customer scheduling and operational contacts
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Help coordinate customer reporting, shipment tracking, and operational updates
Commercial & Operational Support
- Assist with forecasting, volume tracking, and reporting processes
- Support customer nomination and scheduling activities
- Monitor service performance and help identify opportunities for process improvement
- Maintain and update internal tracking tools and spreadsheets
- Assist with contract tracking and commercial administration
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively across departments to improve communication and workflows
- Help ensure accurate and timely information flow between teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field
- Previous internship, co-op, customer service, logistics, or operations experience considered an asset
- Experience in transportation, logistics, energy, or industrial environments is an asset but not required
