Hiring: Apprentice Electrician – Solar Installer (Calgary, AB)

What You'll Do:
- Assist with solar panel installations on residential, commercial, and ground-mount sites
- Work under the guidance of journeypersons to complete tasks safely and efficiently
- Learn to install systems based on Nuvo’s internal electrical and layout designs
- Use hand and power tools to support racking and panel installation
- Follow safety procedures, including PPE and fall protection
- Help maintain clean, organized job sites
- Show up with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
What We’re Looking For:
- Enrolled in or willing to start an apprenticeship program
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Bonus Skills (Great to Have, But Not Required):
- Solar installation experience or certifications (SAIT, NAIT, NABCEP, SEI, etc.)
- Roofing experience (residential or commercial)
- Valid Fall Protection certification (we’ll provide training if needed)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.10-$35.70 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
