About the Role: As a vital member of the Tenda Canada team in Calgary, the Retail Sales Associate is more than just a clerk; you are a product expert and a trusted advisor to our community of shooters and hunters. You will collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to achieve sales objectives and ensure our retail environment reflects our commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert Consultation: Deliver exceptional customer service by providing detailed technical information on firearms, optics, ammunition, and tactical equipment to help customers find the perfect setup.
- Sales Excellence: Proactively assist the Sales Manager in meeting and exceeding store sales targets through engaging, high-quality customer interactions.
- Merchandising & Presentation: Maintain a premium shopping environment by organizing, displaying, and restocking high-end merchandise, firearms, and accessories.
- Customer Engagement: Warmly welcome every visitor, ensuring they receive a professional and friendly experience that aligns with our brand values.
- Operational Collaboration: Work cohesively with team members across all departments to optimize store efficiency and maintain seamless daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Licensing: Must hold a valid Possession and Acquisition License (PAL). (Applications without a PAL will absolutely not be considered for this role).
- Location: Must be residing in or able to reliably commute to Calgary, AB.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex product features clearly to both veterans and new shooters.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven understanding of retail best practices; a genuine passion for firearms, hunting, range shooting, or tactical gear is highly preferred.
- Adaptability: A responsible, enthusiastic professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume retail setting.
- Team Player: A collaborative mindset with a strong dedication to supporting colleagues and achieving collective goals.
- Availability: Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet business and retail needs.
