Field Tech Solutions is a leading provider of contract services within the telecommunications industry. We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Network Technicians to support a variety of infrastructure and cabling projects across multiple provinces.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform decommissioning and assembly of data center equipment
Install and configure switches, routers, and network infrastructure
Pull and install RG6, CAT5/6, fiber, and other structured cabling in MDU environments (pre-wire and rewire)
Complete townhouse rough-ins, terminations, and finishing plate installations
Route network cabling through conduits, walls, and ceilings
Perform cable termination and basic fiber splicing for optimal performance
Install and configure LTE devices and related connectivity equipment
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair network systems
Safely work at heights using ladders and lifts when required
Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service work
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues efficiently
Deliver professional, customer-focused service on-site
Adhere to all company safety standards and operational procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in network/copper cabling installations
Valid G driver’s license with a clean abstract
Must own a reliable vehicle, with valid insurance and WSIB coverage
Proficient with hand tools and cable installation equipment
Comfortable working at heights (ladders and lifts)
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
Assets (Preferred but Not Required):
Experience operating scissor lifts
Experience with access control systems
Previous LTE device installation experience
Basic fiber splicing and termination experience
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Evening and night shifts
Weekends as required
On-call availability
On-the-road / field-based work
