Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Foremen/Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role involves working on various construction projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to project specifications. The Concrete Finisher will collaborate with other team members to deliver exceptional results while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
- Finish concrete surfaces using various tools and techniques to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Supervise junior staff and laborers, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that work meets industry standards and project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven 1+ years of experience as a Concrete Foremen/Finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience in supervising teams or mentoring junior staff is a plus.
- Knowledge of quality control processes within the construction field.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy weight regularly.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
