Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting an experienced Hydro-Vac Truck Operator for a growing infrastructure services company based in Moncton, NB. This is opportunity for a safety-focused individual with experience operating hydro-vac and high-pressure equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for hydro excavation, sewer cleaning, underground infrastructure support, and operating a variety of specialized equipment on projects throughout urban and rural New Brunswick.
JOB DUTIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating hydro-vac trucks and supporting excavation and underground infrastructure projects safely and efficiently. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Operating Hydro-Vac trucks and high-pressure water equipment to perform hydro excavation
- Performing high-pressure sewer cleaning, pipe patching, and pipe relining
- Operating a variety of company equipment including Hydro-Vac trucks, Vactors, Flushers, CCTV trucks, Combu Units, 1-ton trucks, and trailers
- Completing pre-trip inspections, driver logs, and other required documentation
- Assisting with site preparation, excavation support, and general site clean-up
- Safely operating basic hand and power tools as required
- Working safely around underground infrastructure, utilities, and active construction sites
- Following all company safety policies and procedures
- Assisting with other duties as assigned
PPE REQUIREMENTS
- All required PPE provided by the client
- Boot allowance provided
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract
- Previous hydro-vac and high-pressure equipment operating experience required
- Construction experience considered an asset
- Experience working around underground infrastructure is a strong asset
- Ability to travel for short periods as required
- Willingness to work overtime based on operational needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis throughout the shift
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe equipment operation
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
RATE OF PAY
$25.00 – $29.00/hr + 4% vacation pay
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
- Wage determined by experience and licensing
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Projects located throughout Moncton and surrounding urban and rural communities
- Fast-paced, safety-focused environment involving excavation, underground utilities, and heavy equipment operations
- Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions
