The Driver is responsible for material handling and delivery of raw and finished products using various company vehicles of various capacities.

Key Responsibility Areas
Deliveries
- Load, unload and deliver raw and finished products between vendors and Tornado
- Organize shipments with vendors and ensure proper packing slips are attached and tracked
Vehicle Operation
- Operates company vehicles according to company procedure, traffic laws and regulatory requirements
- Properly secures loads as required to ensure safe and damage-free movement of materials
- Delivery of chassis and finished Hydrovac Trucks to customers occasionally
Vehicle Inspections / Preventative Maintenance
- Perform required inspections on vehicles, noting repairs or maintenance required
- Clean and provides basic maintenance of vehicles
- Work with service to ensure performance of maintenance and required annual inspections
Administrative Reporting
- Perform and records truck inspections and maintain regulatory documentation
- Maintaining the Driver’s logbook as required in special circumstances
- Maintain other records as required
Projects / Other Assignments
- Assist in other Shipping/Receiving tasks as assigned
- Work on related projects or initiatives assigned
Qualifications
Education
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experienced and competent in load securement and rigging
Certification
- Valid Driver’s License- valid class 1 or class 3 commercial license
- Driver’s abstract required.

- Working and driving in all weather conditions, worker must dress according to conditions
- Correct and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment is a requirement of this position. Worker will provide CSA-approved safety footwear; all other PPE is provided
