ARMOR-IIMAK Canada is seeking a Finance Assistant to join or team.
The successful candidate will have:
- Post secondary education in Finance and pursuing a professional designation
- Minimum 2 years finance/accounting experience
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Solve problems involving several concrete variables
- Excellent grasp of process management
- Works well with other team members
- Ability to analyse General Ledger Accounts
- Ability to read reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word
- SAP experience is an asset
Daily job functions:
- This position reports to the Financial Controller
- Performs daily accounting functions including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables
- Performs bank account reconciliation(s) on a regular basis
- Maintains accounting files, correspondence and other records of relevance to the business
- Verifying time and attendance hours in ADP and adding new personnel to ADP Kiosk
- Maintain digital and physical filings per policy
- This role will also be back-up for Customer Service activities when needed
- Work in an office environment but will be required to move through warehouse/production area to communicate with other team members as needed
WORK SCHEDULE: Full time Mon-Fri 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
