We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at our dealership. The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by providing financial services and facilitating the sale of vehicle financing and insurance products. This position requires strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of dealership operations, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Collaborate with sales staff to understand customer needs and provide tailored financing options.
- Present and explain financing options, warranties, and insurance products to customers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of financing agreements to ensure customer satisfaction while maximizing dealership profitability.
- Maintain compliance with all local regulations regarding financial transactions.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote financial services within the dealership.
- Manage all aspects of the F&I department, including documentation, reporting, and customer follow-up.
- Foster strong relationships with lenders to secure favorable terms for customers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial services within a dealership environment is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyze each deal to balance correctly.
- Excellent sales skills, self driven and motivated to selling/explaining financial services products.
- Understanding the required documentation required for each deal.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to customers and team members.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of sub-prime markets as asset
- A valid driver's license is required.
- A valid AMVIC license is required.
