About the Opportunity
Rodney Pharmacy is a brand-new independent community pharmacy coming Summer of 2026, serving Rodney and the surrounding rural communities. A small clinic space is located inside the pharmacy and is supported by a part-time physician.
We are seeking a reliable, patient-focused pharmacist who values professional autonomy, strong patient relationships, and a supportive work environment.
The position can be structured around the right candidate, including:
- A consistent part-time schedule
- A full-time position
- A management arrangement
- A combination of shifts across our family-owned pharmacy locations
Additional compensation, signing or retention incentives, management compensation, and professional services revenue-sharing may be available for candidates interested in a long-term commitment.
Store Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Closed Sundays
- Closed on major and statutory holidays
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and accurate prescription dispensing
- Counsel patients on medications, adherence, side effects, and treatment plans
- Assess and prescribe for minor ailments within the pharmacist’s scope
- Provide injections, medication reviews, renewals, adaptations, and other professional services
- Identify and resolve drug therapy problems
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and meet all regulatory requirements
- Support pharmacy workflow, inventory, compliance packaging, and daily operations
- Provide guidance to pharmacy assistants and other team members
- Assist with pharmacy management responsibilities where applicable

- Propel Rx
- MAPflow for minor ailments
- RxVigilance & CPS provided
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the OCP
- Professional liability insurance
- Injection certification required
- Community pharmacy experience is an asset
- Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills
- Comfortable working independently and making sound professional decisions
- Reliable transportation to Rodney
- Interest in a long-term or management position is an asset
