About the Role
Parabilis Tech is a wholesale electronics distributor supplying laptops, tablets, and everyday tech to retailers, resellers, and businesses across North America. We're hiring an experienced Computer Repair Technician who specializes in board-level repair and micro-soldering on Windows-based laptops (Lenovo, HP, Dell, Acer, and similar brands).
This is a hands-on hardware role - not IT helpdesk or basic parts-swapping. You'll diagnose and fix real faults at the component level, working through a high volume of repairs every day.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hardware faults on Windows-based laptops at the board level
- Perform micro-soldering and de-soldering on SMD / small components
- Carry out motherboard-level repairs and replacements
- Replace components: screens, keyboards, batteries, USB ports, charging ports, connectors
- Perform BIOS-level troubleshooting, firmware updates, and MDM unlocking
- Maintain a high daily repair volume without sacrificing precision
- Maintain tools, equipment, and parts inventory
- Report repair progress to the operations team
Requirements
- Proven, demonstrable full-cycle laptop repair experience (diagnosis → disassembly → repair/replace → reassembly)
- Proven, hands-on micro-soldering experience (SMD / small components)
- Proven motherboard-level repair experience
- Strong experience with Windows-based laptop brands (Lenovo, HP, Dell, Acer, and similar)
- Comfortable with full device teardown and reassembly
- Direct experience with internal components, not just external or cosmetic parts
Important
This role is not a fit for IT support or helpdesk backgrounds without direct board-level or micro-soldering repair experience.
Compensation & Schedule
- $27-$30/hour, based on experience

- Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM-7:00 PM (no Sundays)
