The Holiday Inn Burlington Hotel & Conference Centre is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and energetic Houseperson to join our housekeeping team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall guest experience throughout the hotel.
We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, works well independently and as part of a team, and is committed to providing excellent guest service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, meeting rooms, and washrooms
- Deliver housekeeping supplies and linens to guest floors
- Assist room attendants with linen removal and garbage collection
- Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping calls
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
- Remove trash and recyclables throughout the property
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Support the housekeeping department during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is considered an asset
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
