We build custom homes & perform renovations of all types including major renovations, additions, kitchen & bathroom remodels, and more!
We are currently looking to hire a skilled Carpenter with a focus on framing and exterior finishes to join our team! The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience working in residential construction.
Responsibilities
- Residential framing
- Ability to install the following finishes independently to a high standard of quality & efficiency: Exterior Finishes such as siding, soffit, and fascia
- Install windows and exterior doors
- Complete tasks in a timely manner, above industry standards
- Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of workplace health and safety
- Keep up with a fast-paced work environment while maintaining accuracy
Required Skills/Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in the field of residential construction (preferred)
- Must have steel toe boots and hard hat
- Must bring basic pouch & accessories
- Must have valid driver’s license & access to vehicle
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to take instruction as well as instruct others
- Responsible, reliable, motivated and interested in learning new skills
- Can work comfortably in a team or independently
- Precision work without close supervision
- Ability to lift 50 + lbs regularly, work outdoors in varying weather conditions and be comfortable working at heights
- Ability to recognize potential problems; report and address them in a timely fashion
- Ability to read and understand blueprints/construction drawings
- Working at Heights, WHMIS, and First Aid certification assets but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
