We are looking for a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our educational team at our Daycare in Abbotsford.
The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment and responsible for educating and inspiring children. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a genuine love for working with children.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of children.
- Educate children in various subjects while promoting critical thinking and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess children's progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting teaching methods to accommodate their unique needs.
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance the learning experience and manage the classroom activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Valid ECE certification and first aid is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine passion for educating and nurturing young minds.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diversity among children.
- Familiarity with educational computer software is preferred and beneficial.
