Job Summary
Alchemy Coffee is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the daily inventory and supply chain operations of our coffee business. This role is responsible for receiving incoming deliveries, inspecting shipments, organizing inventory, preparing outgoing orders, and maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records. The successful candidate will work closely with café operations, suppliers, and management to ensure products and supplies are received, stored, and distributed efficiently.
The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and committed to maintaining accuracy while working in a fast-paced coffee and hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of coffee beans, food products, beverages, packaging materials, and café supplies.
- Compare deliveries against purchase orders and report damaged or missing items.
- Organize inventory and store products following FIFO inventory procedures.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, supplier returns, and internal stock transfers.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
- Coordinate with suppliers, delivery drivers, and café management.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock items.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock reconciliation, and warehouse organization.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized receiving and storage areas.
- Follow company policies, food safety regulations, and workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $17.00-$27.00 per hour
