We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team in Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports the development and well-being of young children. You will implement and deliver curriculum aligned with early childhood development guidelines, fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities
- Ensure a safe and clean learning environment
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
- Support children’s individual needs and promote positive behavior
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
Qualifications:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification recognized in Alberta
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong understanding of child development principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- First Aid and CPR certification (required)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
