Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting geotechnical engineering projects by conducting field and laboratory tests, collecting data, and ensuring quality control throughout the construction process. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in construction practices and a keen eye for quality inspection.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field investigations and collect soil, rock, and groundwater samples for analysis.
- Carry out construction inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Monitor construction activities to verify that quality control measures are being implemented effectively.
- Document data collection processes accurately and maintain organized records of findings.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to support project development and execution.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Knowledge of construction practices, methods, and materials relevant to geotechnical engineering.
