They are responsible for training and supporting trainers and packaging team leaders on machine setup, operation, and maintenance procedures defined by the company. They also communicate any changes in processes or procedures to the Training Manager to ensure training programs remain up to date.

Responsibilities
Operational & Administrative Management
- Define, formalize, and stabilize machine settings to ensure consistent and reproducible standards across all shifts
- Conduct feasibility tests on packaging materials and acceptance tests for new packaging (including R&D sampling)
- Develop, structure, and update training materials, setup guides, and knowledge transfer procedures
- Prepare test reports, update performance indicators, and maintain systems (CMMS, activity reports)
- Inform the Training Manager of any process or procedure changes
Quality & Safety
- Apply and enforce hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards
- Verify reliability of Critical Control Points (CCP) and monitoring points (e.g., X-ray detection, aroma, cooling)
Communication
- Support supervisors and team leaders in technical analysis and optimization of machine settings
- Train and coach trainers and team leaders on machine operation, adjustments, and first-level maintenance
- Communicate process updates to Maintenance and Production teams and escalate issues when needed
Technical Improvement (Mechanical & Performance)
- Identify mechanical or operational issues and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Participate in the installation and setup of new equipment and contribute to procedure development
- Lead and propose improvement initiatives (ergonomics, safety, productivity) and ensure sustainability of results
Qualifications
- Technical training and/or diploma in mechanics or 5 years of relevant experience
- Significant experience in a similar role
- Experience in the food industry (asset)
- Strong French skills required; English is an asset
