Job description
Who we are
We're Arcady Media, a retention marketing agency. We've helped brands like NeuroGum, HexClad, and others turn email and SMS into their highest-performing revenue channel, not an afterthought.
We don't just send emails. We build the retention infrastructure that turns one-time buyers into loyal customers: the segmentation, the lifecycle flows, the campaign strategy, and the testing frameworks that actually move repeat purchase rate and LTV.
We care about three things above everything else: collaboration, honesty, and continuous learning.
That's how we work with clients, and that's how we keep getting better at what we do.
Not just the best in the Agency space, but continuously redefining what the best looks like. Arcady Media is looking for a new Associate Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our robust team. Ready to join us?
Role Summary
As an Associate Lifecycle Marketing Manager, your mission is to own the strategy and execution of lifecycle marketing across email and SMS for a portfolio of high-growth eCommerce brands — while growing into a full client-facing strategist role.
We're looking for someone who is curious by default, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can turn data and client goals into clear, structured plans. You'll work closely with senior strategists, Content Strategists, and Designers to execute campaigns and flows that drive measurable retention outcomes.
Curious about our impact? Check out our case studies on our website.
How This Role Fits Into The Team
This is the first fully strategic role in the Arcady career path. You've graduated from execution — now you own the plan.
You'll work directly alongside a Lifecycle Marketing Manager who mentors your strategic development, and you'll collaborate closely with the Content Strategist who owns day-to-day creative execution for your accounts.
You own the strategy and the client relationship on your pod — the Content Strategist brings it to life through precise execution.
Key Responsibilities
Core responsibilities
- Build and own campaign calendars across email and SMS for your client portfolio.
- Develop full-funnel flow strategies — welcome series, post-purchase, win-back, browse abandon, and loyalty flows.
- Support client communication: attend calls, prepare performance summaries, and translate goals into strategic recommendations.
- Own your accounts' retention roadmap across email, SMS, and loyalty initiatives under the guidance of your LMM.
Team and campaign management
- Review final creative assets for clarity, brand alignment, and strategic fit before launch.
- Manage tasks and priorities in ClickUp, ensuring visibility and accountability across your pod.
- Coordinate with Content Strategists and Designers to keep campaigns on schedule and on-brief.
Retention strategy and optimization
- Use Klaviyo to define segmentation logic, flow triggers, and campaign targeting.
- Monitor list health and manage deliverability proactively — open rates, domain reputation, list hygiene.
- Design and analyze A/B tests that generate compounding, account-level learnings.
- Track and report on performance metrics: open rate, click rate, placed order rate, and revenue attribution.
- Configure and maintain SMS platforms and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
What You'll Learn
This role is structured to build strategic depth across the retention marketing discipline.
- Lifecycle strategy with opportunity to expand into subscriptions and loyalty programs
- Client relationship management
- Leadership and cross-functional collaboration
- Platform and technical skills (Klaviyo, Attentive, Skio etc..)
Career Growth
The ALMM role sits at the second strategic tier of the Arcady career path. Progression to Lifecycle Marketing Manager is performance-based, not tenure-based. We assess consistent performance across:
- Owning the full retention strategy for your accounts without requiring escalation.
- Running client calls independently, including performance reviews and strategic planning sessions.
- Mentoring and directing Content Strategists and Designers effectively.
- Demonstrating measurable impact on client KPIs — repeat purchase rate, LTV, and revenue attribution.
- Contributing to internal process improvements, playbooks, or agency-level initiatives.
As you progress, you'll take on larger and more complex accounts, gain access to cross-functional projects, and be considered for involvement in new client strategy and onboarding.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 1–2 years in email marketing, lifecycle strategy, or a related role — agency or brand-side.
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or a comparable ESP (Klaviyo strongly preferred).
- Working understanding of segmentation logic, flow strategy, and campaign performance metrics.
- Comfort with client-facing communication — calls, written updates, and performance reviews.
- Strong ownership mindset: you identify problems before they're flagged and you come with solutions.
- Attention to detail when reviewing copy, design assets, and campaign configurations.
Preferred
- Familiarity with SMS platforms (Postscript, Attentive, or similar).
- Understanding of deliverability concepts — domain warm-up, bounce management, list hygiene.
- Background in eCommerce or DTC brands, with exposure to Shopify and its Klaviyo integration.
- Experience using ClickUp, Figma, and Slack in a professional setting.
Starting salary: $75,000 CAD
Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
