Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate auto parts based on their vehicle requirements
- Manage sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card payments
- Maintain organized inventory and ensure timely order fulfillment for customer requests
- Provide knowledgeable advice on automotive repairs, maintenance, and product features
- Support marketing efforts by promoting special offers and new products to customers
- Ensure excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or via online channels
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and improve overall customer satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and dealership promotions to better serve customers
Skills
- Proven experience in dealership or retail auto parts sales is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, CMMS, Microsoft Excel, and order fulfillment processes
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and maintenance practices
- Cash handling experience and proficiency in cashiering operations
- Effective marketing skills to promote products and increase sales opportunities
- Organizational skills to manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, and ensure efficient workflow
- Ability to work well under pressure, demonstrate phone etiquette, and exhibit strong math skills for accurate transactions
