Summary
We are currently looking for one full time Retail Team Member to join our busy Colwood Corners liquor store.
This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a customer-focused, fast-paced retail environment and is available to work primarily evening shifts (3:15 PM to 11:15 PM) and weekends, with some weekday shifts as needed. There is also opportunity to cross-train at Rise Cannabis, with room for growth and advancement within the company.

Job Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with product selection
- Operating the till, processing cash, debit, credit, and lottery transactions
- Checking ID’s and ensuring responsible sales in compliance with regulations
- Stocking shelves and rotating product (FIFO method)
- Receiving shipments and unloading deliveries
- Working in cooler and back storage areas to organize and maintain inventory
- Facing and merchandising product to maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Maintaining cleanliness of store including sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, and general upkeep
- Assisting with inventory counts and loss prevention procedures
- Supporting daily store operations in a fast-paced environment
- Safely using equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, carts, and ladders
- Ensuring displays are full, organized, and visually appealing at all times
Applicants must have:
- At least one year of retail experience
- Serving It Right certificate before first shift
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Strong cash handling experience
- Excellent English, both written and spoken
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to assist with unloading shipments and safely operate equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and carts
- Ability to safely use ladders as required
- Understanding of loss prevention practices
- Product knowledge of liquor or cannabis is considered an asset
- Must be bondable
