Seeking 2nd/3rd Term Electrician Apprentice with 2+years of Canadian commercial experience (actual working experience)
- Not accepting pre apprentices
-full time year- round work
- good understanding of the English language both written and spoken
- ability to work alone and with others
- reliable, punctual, ability to show up every day
- display a neat appearance and professional attitude
- must be in good standing with the College of Trades
- proficient with the use of both hand and power tools
- proficient with the use of trade specific tools such as benders, threaders, punches and tuggers etc.
- knowledge of the electric code
- ability to read and understand schematics
- familiar with the installation of Rigid, EMT and PVC conduits
- good understanding of controls
- familiar with hazardous location installations
- working at heights, elevated platforms, first aid and WHMIS all required
- valid drivers license, in good standing
- own vehicle, hand tools, hard hat, safety boots
- good wages, benefits and uniforms
- travel required from time to time
- overtime is available, generally work is Monday to Friday, occasional weekends
