Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Founding Head Trainer & Studio Manager to join our growing FS8 Liberty Village team.
As a key leader within the studio, you will oversee daily operations, lead and mentor our trainer team, drive membership growth, and create an exceptional member experience.
This role combines coaching leadership, studio operations, community engagement, and business growth. You will work closely with ownership to build a thriving studio culture while supporting the successful launch and long-term growth of FS8 Liberty Village.
ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and support trainers
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture
- Lead trainer development and maintain coaching excellence
- Support scheduling and studio coverage needs
- Ensure consistency in member experience and coaching standards
Studio Operations & Member Experience
- Oversee daily studio operations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for members and guests
- Address member feedback and service opportunities promptly and professionally
- Ensure an exceptional and consistent studio experience
Membership Growth & Community Engagement
- Support membership growth through relationship building, referrals, and community outreach
- Manage leads, consultations, and membership opportunities
- Develop local partnerships and community connections
- Support studio events, challenges, and member engagement initiatives
- Build a strong and connected studio community
Requirements
- 450-Hour Comprehensive Pilates Certification (Mat + Reformer)
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification
- Experience teaching group Reformer Pilates classes
- Previous leadership, Head Trainer, Studio Manager, or Lead Instructor experience preferred
- Strong communication, coaching, and team development skills
- Experience in boutique fitness environments such as FS8, Club Pilates, Vaura Pilates, F45, BFT, Orangetheory, Sweat and Tonic, or similar fitness brands preferred
- Sales, member retention, and community engagement experience considered an asset
- Professional, reliable, energetic, and team-oriented.
