The Production Supervisor acts as the on-site lead for downstream process operations. They manage employees across all lines and ensure that human and technical resources are effectively deployed to meet packaging schedules while respecting cost and delivery targets. They maintain full visibility of ongoing and upcoming activities within their departments.

Responsibilities
Production Organization
- Validate schedules prepared by the planning department
- Ensure technical resources are operational
- Approve team reorganization as needed
- Communicate production progress to relevant departments
- Ensure corrective measures are implemented in case of equipment issues in collaboration with technical teams
- Organize line cleaning activities with the relevant departments
Management
- Plan employee vacations
- Supervise, coach, and motivate employees through briefings, meetings, and daily guidance
- Identify recruitment needs and inform management
- Ensure training follow-up and validate newly trained employees
Continuous Improvement
- Ensure effective communication with management and team members
- Propose improvements to workstations and line organization
- Implement tracking tools to analyze recurring defects and contribute to corrective action plans
Qualifications and Requirements
- Training and/or experience in food production supervision
- Minimum of 5 years of team supervision experience in an industrial environment
- Strong French and functional English required to ensure clear communication (safety, instructions, training)
- Experience in the food industry is an asset
