Title: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Company: WeightCare
Location: Hybrid (Montreal office + remote)
Who We Are:
We are a leading provider of weight-loss subscriptions, committed to empowering our members on their weight-loss journey with accessible telemedicine, science-backed treatments, and unwavering support for a healthier, happier life. Our mission is to provide exceptional service and guidance to every individual on their journey towards a healthier lifestyle.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, performance-driven Chief Marketing Officer to lead WeightCare's marketing function and own the acquisition engine that drives our growth. This role is best suited to a marketing executive who has directly managed substantial paid media budgets across Facebook, Google, YouTube, TikTok and other major channels, and who understands what disciplined performance marketing looks like at scale.
The CMO will be responsible for uniting each element of the marketing function, paid media, organic, creative, and brand, into a single, coherent strategy, and for aligning the broader team around a clear, shared set of growth objectives. Ultimately, this role is accountable for revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own overall accountability for new member acquisition and revenue growth across all marketing channels.
- Direct significant investment across Facebook, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms, with close attention to CAC, LTV, ROAS, and payback period.
- Evaluate paid, organic, creative, and retention marketing as an integrated growth engine, ensuring every function works together to maximize performance.
- Set a clear vision and direction for the marketing team, and lead them toward shared performance goals with accountability and rigor.
- Foster a culture of continuous testing across channels, creative, and offers, scaling what proves effective.
- Provide leadership with clear, reliable visibility into marketing performance and its impact on the business.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a senior marketing executive (CMO, VP of Marketing, or equivalent), with direct responsibility for significant paid media budgets across Facebook, Google, YouTube, and other major channels.
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth through performance marketing, not solely brand-building.
- Ability to synthesize multiple marketing functions into a single, coherent strategy.
- Strong leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to build, direct, and motivate a marketing team toward ambitious growth targets.
- Strong analytical acumen, with fluency in key performance metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rates).
- Excellent communication skills, with sound judgment in shaping how the company is represented externally.
- A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude: willing to get into the details of a campaign, a dashboard, or a creative brief when the moment calls for it, not just direct from a distance.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup-style environment where priorities evolve, and ownership is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within a subscription, direct-to-consumer, telehealth, or healthcare/wellness business.
- Experience scaling a marketing function through a high-growth stage.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
- Potential for long-term equity participation as part of the overall compensation package, with the opportunity to help shape the next stage of the company's growth
- Standard benefits, including dental care, extended health care, and paid time off
- A collaborative, startup environment with genuine opportunity for growth and advancement
Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- Dental care
- Extended health care
- Flexible schedule
- Paid time off
- Work from home
