Home Support Worker (Part-Time/Casual)

Aviora Healthcare is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Support Workers to provide in-home support services to seniors and adults living independently in Ottawa and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others maintain comfort, safety, and independence in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and social interaction
- Assist with meal preparation and basic nutrition support
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Assist with grocery shopping and errands
- Support clients with daily routines and organization
- Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when required
- Monitor client well-being and report concerns to the care team
- Maintain accurate documentation and professional communication
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, home support, PSW, DSW, or related experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification considered an asset
- Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to employment
