Atlantic Flushing & Testing, Inc. is a turnkey service provider managing projects in the Marine, Industrial, Commercial sectors of Atlantic Canada. The company specializes in mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting, fabrication and welding of various piping systems, hydrostatic testing, chemical cleaning and hydraulic flushing, metal fabrication, welding and machine shop services. Based in Burnside Industrial Park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, we provide quality work by certified and experienced tradespeople. Atlantic Flushing & Testing, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Hydraulic Technician.
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Marine and Industrial settings.
- Demonstrate experience as a self-starter and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Willing to travel for jobs as required.
- Qualify for Security Clearances (Reliability Status and Controlled Goods).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work both indoors and outdoors, up and down stairs, confined spaces, working at heights.
- Frequently noisy working environment
- Steel-toed safety boots will be required, all other PPE is provided e.g., safety glasses/goggles, hard hat, hearing protection, etc.
- Hazards associated with the trade/industry.
- Exposure to active construction and/or job sites.
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Work occasional extra hours as the need arises.

The successful candidate will be committed to performing quality work in a time sensitive environment and have a sound understanding of various types of machinery, power sources and marine equipment and their operating requirements across a number of different environments.
