We are looking for a dedicated, energetic, and customer-focused team member to join our front-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and is comfortable supporting multiple areas of operations including floor service, banquet events, catering support, and guest experience.
If you already have experience working in an Indian restaurant and understand Indian food, curries, breads, spice levels, and customer expectations — we are happy to invest in further training and growth within our team.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent guest service throughout their visit.
- Take dine-in, takeout, and catering orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, card transactions, and POS operations responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across dining and service areas.
- Support food preparation and packaging when required.
- Assist during banquet hall events, private parties, and catering operations.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front staff during busy service hours.
- Help maintain smooth restaurant operations while multitasking effectively between floor and kitchen support duties.
Requirements
- Previous serving experience in an Indian restaurant is required.
- Strong knowledge of Indian food, menu items, breads, curries, spice levels, and customer recommendations.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working flexible roles including banquet events and catering support.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong time management and teamwork skills.
