Process Engineer
Vaughan, Ontario
Salary flexible depending on level of experience with Benefits and room for advancement
Preferred candidates should have a background in the food equipment design and integration
sector
Responsibilities
- Design and Modify Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s)
- Size and select equipment and lines for the Process
- Monitor and evaluate process efficiency
- Data analysis and making recommendations on design and process optimization
- Adjusting variables such as machine speed, material input and temperature settings
- Conducting safety and risk assessments to ensure industry regulations and compliance
- Quality assurance and documentation
- Client communications and addressing any timeline or technical concerns
- Start up, commissioning and troubleshooting
- Use of AutoCAD and MS Office
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Food Science)
- 5+ years of experience in Process Engineering
- Experience in equipment design/integration an asset
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and automation (PLC programming would be an
asset)
- AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency
- Excellent communication, written and documentation skills
