We are on the hunt for an experienced Residential Site Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis.
What We’re Looking For
We require an individual who has a proven track record in residential carpentry.
If you are interested in working at project sites throughout Calgary and surrounding areas, are organized, and pride yourself on your workmanship and providing outstanding customer service, please apply!
Key Responsibilities - Include, but not limited to:
· Plan and complete carpentry tasks from start to finish.
· Perform light interior finishing.
· Install interior/exterior doors, casings, baseboards, and various mouldings.
· Install subflooring.
· Review, understand, and execute millwork drawings and floor plans.
· Perform light (back) framing.
· Maintain site cleanliness, including vacuuming, lot cleaning, and sweeping at key points of construction.
· Perform demolition when required.
· Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to transporting various materials to project sites.
Required Skills and Experience
· 5+ years of experience in residential construction.
· Journeyman/woman or Red Seal Candidates prioritized.
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
· Self-motivated, proactive, and professional.
· able to work efficiently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
· Must speak fluent English.
· Valid Driver’s License and clean Abstract.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.-150 lbs.
