Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architect to join our innovative commercial design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive architectural plans, managing project workflows, and collaborating with clients and contractors to bring creative visions to life. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including new constructions, renovations, and adaptive reuse, utilizing advanced design software and project management tools to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed architectural drawings and models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D, SketchUp, and 3ds Max.
- Create compelling visual presentations with Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors through negotiation and business development efforts to align project goals.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources ensuring adherence to specifications and deadlines.
- Prepare construction documents including drafting, construction estimating, and renovation planning.
- Utilize NavisWorks for clash detection and coordination across disciplines during the construction phase.
- Conduct site visits for inspections, assessments, and overseeing construction progress.
- Assist in business development activities by preparing proposals and participating in client meetings.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions into designs using Rhinoceros 3D, SketchUp, CAD tools, and other relevant software.
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D, SketchUp, 3ds Max, NavisWorks, CAD drafting tools.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for presentation and visualization purposes.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, renovation processes, and building codes.
- Excellent negotiation skills with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective project management techniques.
- Skilled in business development strategies to expand client base and project opportunities.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for document review and markup processes.
- Knowledge of Rhinoceros 3D for complex modeling tasks.

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
