Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair and bodywork, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship and safety. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques. Candidates with dealership experience, mechanical knowledge, and mechanic experience are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment adjustments
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in accordance with industry standards
- Sand, paint, and finish vehicle surfaces to match original specifications
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
- Document repair processes and communicate effectively with service advisors
Experience
- Prior dealership experience is preferred but not required
- Proven knowledge related to automotive repair and bodywork
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and safety procedures
- Experience working with automotive paint and finishing techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanic experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates willing to learn
Candidates must have 4 to 5 years of direct experience in auto body repair.
