Solidity Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Residential Finish Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship and has experience delivering high-quality finish carpentry in custom homes, residential construction, and renovation projects.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete finish carpentry work accurately.
- Install interior doors, casing, baseboards, crown moulding, window trim, and architectural millwork.
- Install custom shelving, closet systems, and built-in cabinetry.
- Install and adjust door hardware, bath accessories, and other finishing details.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials to ensure precise installation and a professional finished product.
- Complete touch-ups and deficiency corrections to maintain quality standards.
- Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and homeowners to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with general residential carpentry tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of residential finish carpentry experience.
- Strong knowledge of trim installation, interior doors, hardware, cabinetry, and millwork.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
Assets
- Experience with custom homes and high-end residential construction.
- Experience installing stair railings and decorative millwork.
- Basic framing and renovation experience.
- First Aid and Fall Protection certifications.
