Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing landscape and irrigation systems, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects involving construction, gardening, and landscape maintenance, contributing to the beautification and functionality of outdoor spaces. The Installer will utilize a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and excavators, to deliver quality results.
Responsibilities
- Install irrigation systems, landscaping features, and horticultural elements according to project specifications
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators safely and effectively during installation processes
- Use hand tools and power tools for digging, cutting, assembling, and securing components
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, and soil preparation
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet client expectations
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with irrigation or landscape equipment and perform basic repairs as needed
- Follow safety protocols during all phases of installation and maintenance work
Requirements
- Proven experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is preferred
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, horticulture, and landscape maintenance is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction or outdoor systems is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of construction practices related to landscape installation
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in landscape or construction installation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driver’s license is required for transportation between job sites
- Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
