Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Marine Service Advisor with strong computer skills and solid mechanical knowledge to join our growing service team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands marine systems, repairs, and service operations. The successful candidate will act as the key connection between customers and technicians while ensuring exceptional service experiences from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide outstanding customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
· Schedule service appointments and coordinate workflow with technicians
· Follow up with service customers regarding repairs, updates, and completion timelines
· Create and manage work orders accurately using dealership software systems
· Process invoices, payments, warranty claims, and service documentation
· Communicate technical information clearly to customers and internal staff
· Monitor service progress and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the repair process
· Maintain accurate customer records and transaction details
· Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues efficiently
· Serve as the communication link between customers, technicians, and management
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
· Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership management software quickly
· Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Mechanical knowledge and understanding of marine or automotive systems
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
· Detail-oriented with accurate documentation and data entry skills
Preferred:
· Previous experience in marine, automotive, RV, or powersports service advising
· Knowledge of boats, marine engines, electrical systems, and service procedures
· Warranty administration experience is considered an asset
