Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Fitter to join our Piping team. We will review Applications with Plumbing, Pipefitting and Millwright experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints, and experience working with various hand and power tools. This role involves Hydraulic Pipe / Tubing Layout, Fabrication and Installation. We also preform Flushing and Pressure testing of Completed Hydraulic Systems all over Western Canada.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to assemble hydraulic systems accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and Bending equipment to assemble and repair hydraulic components
- Operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the warehouse or manufacturing area
- Conduct routine inspections of hydraulic assemblies for quality assurance
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and parts used
- Assist in troubleshooting hydraulic system issues and perform repairs or replacements as necessary
- Support warehouse operations by organizing parts and ensuring inventory accuracy
- Be willing to Travel in Western Canada for Extended periods of time for Major Projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience with blueprint reading, schematics, and assembly processes in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical knowledge related to hydraulic systems, machining, welding, and use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to operate forklifts safely (warehouse experience preferred)
- Familiarity with calipers, schematics, and technical diagrams for precise fitting and assembly
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
Pay: $30.00-$40.50 per hour
