Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and maintenance. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning units and related systems across various commercial and residential settings. The position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, appliance repair, construction, and reading schematics to apply their expertise in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams for system installation and repairs
- Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues related to plumbing, mechanical components, or electrical connections
- Utilize welding skills when necessary for system repairs or modifications
- Assist with boiler maintenance and repairs as needed within the scope of HVAC responsibilities
- Repair appliances related to HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades of HVAC infrastructure
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or mechanic with a solid understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience with plumbing, welding, boiler systems, appliance repair, and construction is highly desirable
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently and safely in various environments
- Knowledge of electrical wiring related to HVAC systems is preferred
- Valid certification or licensing related to HVAC or mechanical work is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings

Pay: $23.22-$54.45 per hour
