Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities through hands-on maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment that supports our operational excellence.
Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Conduct welding repairs and residential painting tasks as needed to uphold facility standards.
- Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings to diagnose problems effectively.
- Support facilities maintenance initiatives by managing electrical systems, welding projects, and general repairs across the site.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for repairs or assistance.
- Lead safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical background.
- Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting for facility upkeep projects.
- Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and vendors.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to facilities maintenance, electrical work, welding, and manufacturing processes.
