We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team full time. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a busy dental office environment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and experience with electronic medical records to ensure smooth operations at the front desk.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes
- Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using Power Practice software
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic dental records
- Handle multi-line phone systems, answering calls promptly and addressing inquiries
- Process patient payments and insurance claims efficiently
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk area
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a dental office is preferred
- Proficiency in using Power Practice software systems is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of dental terminology related to dental practices
- Experience with electronic medical records management
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
