Our manufacturing client near Ingersoll is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Controller to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, leading people, and making an impact on the business.

Responsibilities:
- Successfully manage and lead a team of approximately 4 individuals, including AR, AP, payroll, and a logistics coordinator.
- Collaborate with the sales team to negotiate customer contracts and review legal agreements.
- Drive the modernization of the finance department through initiatives such as AP automation, implementation of expense software, and improvements to the ERP system
- Contribute to higher-level conversations and discussions with the senior management team.
- Responsible for completing month-end closing procedures and preparing monthly management reports.
- Accountable for daily cash management and AR collections, as well as approving credit limits and payment terms.
- Complete job costing for manufacturing including raw material purchases, manufacturing, and engineering labor.
- Liaise with other company departments at a senior level, ensuring efficient communication between accounting and other departments.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation is preferred
- 8-10 years of experience, with leadership experience in managing a small team.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various levels within the organization.
- Experience with ERP systems and automations
- Interest in modernizing finance departments through technology.
- Ability to commute to the office 100% 5 days a week
