Summary
Hands-on, full-cycle accounting role in a project-based business. You’ll work closely with operations and leadership — not just behind the scenes.
Full-time, hybrid: 3 days/week in-office (Duncan), 2 days flexible
Easy commute from Victoria (~40–45 minutes) or relocation support available
What You’ll Do
- Full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, payroll, journal entries, reconciliations)
- Lead month-end close and prepare financial statements
- Track job costs, inventory, assets, and project expenses
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
- Ensure GST/PST/WCB compliance
- Partner with operations on reporting and insights
What You Bring
- 2–5 years full-cycle accounting experience
- Accounting or Finance degree
- CPA (or working toward) an asset
- Construction / project-based experience is a plus
- Strong Excel + accounting systems (Sage, QuickBooks, ERP)
- Detail-oriented and comfortable taking ownership
Compensation & Benefits
- $70,000 – $85,000
