We are hiring Brake Press Operator - Night Shift in Woodbridge, ON

ABOUT THE POSITION
The Brake Press Operator is responsible for producing metal parts that meet customer specifications for quality and output, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Operate brake press machines to bend parts according to drawings and specifications
- Program and set up machines to meet production and quality requirements
- Perform first-off inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Complete required documentation and data entry accurately
- Maintain housekeeping standards in line with 5S methodology
- Communicate effectively with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or process concerns to supervisors
- Ensure all tasks are completed within assigned timelines
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONS
- Experience in metal fabrication is considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Proficient in using measuring tools such as tape measures and vernier calipers
- Knowledge of brake press tooling setup and changeover
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic to intermediate mathematical skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
WORK AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 100% plant floor role requiring PPE
- Fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Exposure to noise, temperature variations, and frequent interruptions
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in varying temperatures
- Overtime may be required
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time (shift time –10PM - 6AM) - Night Shift
