Seeking an energetic, personable individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills for an independent, low-stress and fun sales role.
This part-time weekend Sales Associate / Brand Ambassador role is ideal for someone passionate about farmers markets, pop-up markets, artisan events, retail sales, customer service, and community events. You will independently operate our event booth at trade shows and local markets across Langley, Surrey, Delta, the Fraser Valley, and the Lower Mainland while engaging customers, driving sales, promoting our small business brand, and interacting with dogs in a fun, fast-paced outdoor environment. This flexible weekend job is perfect for candidates with sales experience, strong customer engagement skills, reliable transportation, and an interest in pet-friendly event work and local market culture.
As a Sales Team Member, you will play a pivotal role in representing our brand at various pop-up markets and events. You will independently operate before and during market hours. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Duties
- Pick up market equipment(pop-up tent, folding table, chair) and merchandise from the storage unit in Langley.
- Commuting to and from the market/trade fair location (In the lower mainland and Fraser Valley).
- Setting up the booth at the market according to the predetermined layout.
- Run the pop-up booth indoors or outdoors at the pop-up artisan or farmers market.
- Interacting with customers and educating them about our brand's story and products.
- Engaging in sales efforts to drive revenue and meet sales targets.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere at the booth and capture photos and videos of the dogs.
- Return market equipment to the storage unit in Langley.
Experience
- 2+ years of work experience in a similar role
- Experience working in sales, retail customer service, community-building, communications, or other related disciplines
- Passionate and knowledgeable about farmers' markets, artisan markets, support local businesses, trade fairs.
- Knowledge about dog breeds and their behaviours

- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being outside in all weather conditions ( Most winter/holiday markets will be indoors)
- Enjoys physical activity and getting involved
- Self-directed, reliable, responsible, and flexible
- Be able to lift up to 30lbs to load/unload your vehicle (You will be given one dolly cart/wagon cart to use at the markets)
- Hold a valid BC driver's license with a good driving record and can drive to different market locations.
- Take photos and short video clips of dogs.
The ideal candidate will also have the following characteristics:
- Familiarity with the region is an asset. ( We have two positions to fill based on where you reside. We will assign markets closest to your residence. You should be willing to drive anywhere in the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley if required)
- Experience or familiarity with the pop-up markets/ farmers markets/ expo/ trade fairs
- Able to work independently
- Driver's license is required. You will be driving your vehicle to market locations.

Flexible working days:
Saturdays only
Sundays only
Saturdays and Sundays
1 or 2 Fridays(evenings) per month and combined with one of the above.
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week
