Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Kitchen/General Bar Help to join our team. This role involves supporting food and beverage service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring a positive experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen and bar areas. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for the food industry are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly to ensure timely service
- Support cooking activities as directed by kitchen staff or management
- Handle bar duties efficiently and responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, bar, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Properly handle and store food items to prevent contamination
- Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Prepping wings
- Cooking and serving food
- Portioning food
- Emptying, cleaning and refilling fryer
- Cleaning kitchen, bathroom etc
- Cleaning bar mats
- Putting away inventory
- Refilling condiments etc
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and meal preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, cooperative demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies, including full beer kegs to a height of approximately three feet (empty ones to six feet).
- Enthusiasm for working in the food industry with a willingness to learn new skills
- Food safety certification is required

Pay: $17.20-$27.39 per hour
