Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Provide knowledgeable assistance on gardening, horticulture, or landscaping products when applicable
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and organization
- Assist customers with questions about e-commerce options and online orders
- Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Promote sales through upselling and cross-selling techniques
- Maintain awareness of current product knowledge to inform customers effectively
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
- Knowledge of retail sales principles, merchandising, and customer service best practices
- Familiarity with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is desirable
- Organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store presentation
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when needed
- Experience with e-commerce platforms is advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting
Pay: $90,000.00-$150,000.00 per hour
