Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust mobile/web applications and services. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, with experience in a variety of programming languages and cloud platforms.
Duties
- Leading the frontend architecture, including component design patterns, state management, and UI performance optimization.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms
- Build and manage backend services, APIs, and databases to support mobile functionality
- Lead full-stack development efforts across front-end and back-end systems
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance on coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability
- Implement security best practices across all software components
- Leading the design and development of the process modeling engine, including BPMN-based workflow and process architecture within the Klarify platform.
- Defining and implementing system architecture decisions across the platform to support long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure architecture including system reliability and infrastructure design.
- Designing and maintaining DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing, deployment, and continuous delivery.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of full-stack development experience with mobile apps
- Demonstrated experience leading projects and mentoring team members
- History of successful real world product development and examples
- Strong back-end development experience (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar)
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB)
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in frontend technologies (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin)
- Strong experience with backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar)
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture
- Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Version control experience using Git
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Job Types: Contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6-8 months
Pay: $85,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kelowna, BC
