SimplySmart Childcare and Montessori is hiring a Full-Time Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our Toronto - Bloor team.
We are seeking an energetic and passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality, child-centered early learning in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate programs and daily activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to support a strong classroom culture
- Communicate effectively with families regarding children’s progress and daily experiences
- Observe, document, and support children’s learning and development
Qualifications:
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing (required)
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Up to date immunizations
- Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to engage children through intentional programming
- Montessori experience is considered an asset
