Position: Part Time-Front Desk Agent
Four Points by Sheraton Mississauga Meadowvale
Responsibilities:
¨ Identifies and records special billing instructions and notifies Accounting
¨ Offers guests updated rooms and promotes hotel amenities, food & beverage outlets and services
¨ Makes reservations in accordance with hotel’s yield management practices
¨ Processes customer credit at check-in in accordance with hotel policy
¨ Greets guest and processes hotel registration
¨ Keeps current on hotel accommodations, services and area attractions
¨ Responds to customer inquiries for information
¨ Arranges for services requested by the guest by working with other departments as appropriate
¨ Stays current with developments in the hotel by reviewing and updating the communication log
¨ Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
¨ Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
¨ Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the Service Culture
¨ Must be able to multi task and have a presence at the desk.
¨ Assumes owenership and makes decisions based on situations.
¨ Available to work 7days a week any shift.
Skill Requirements:
· Hotel experience would be an asset;
· Strong verbal and written communication skills;
· Excellent organizational and time management skills;
· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment;
· Customer Service oriented;
· Professional attitude and appearance;
· High level of accuracy, and a strong commitment to detail;
· Work well under pressure and in a team environment;
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
