Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food and beverage service. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred. Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with opening or closing duties as assigned
- Uphold food safety protocols during food handling and serving to ensure guest safety
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing tabs
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities during busy hours
- Experience in hospitality or food service environments is highly desirable
