We are seeking a dynamic and organized Admissions Manager to oversee the student recruitment and enrolment process at Bronte College. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in representing the school, guiding prospective students through the admissions journey, and ensuring a seamless experience. The position will be responsible for developing recruitment strategies, managing application processes, and maintaining positive relationships with prospective students and their families.
Summary of essential job functions
· To oversee the day-to-day operations of the Enrolment services.
· To manage the Enrolment team.
· Primary contact between the school and agents, students and parents.
· Ensure new applications are processed and admitting the best students into the school.
· Oversee the re-enrolment of returning students
· To lead the orientation process and committee.
· Understand in detail the Ontario secondary school system, all programs, fees breakdown, school policies and procedures and other information to be able to answer all questions from inquiries.
Job Summary
· Lead and manage the Enrolment team.
o Respond and give direction in dealing with any crisis/emergency situations.
o Interview and select staff.
o Supervise team members.
o Assist in developing policies and procedures.
o Interpret, implement and administer departmental policies.
o Performance appraisals for team members.
· Responsible for execution of the full admissions cycle.
o Ensuring the CRM is accurate and up-to-date.
o Process online high school and summer camp/school applications.
o Evaluate and process admission applications.
o Understand in detail other school systems to assess and process applications in an accurate and prompt manner.
o Issuing Conditional Letter of Acceptances and Official Letter of Acceptances.
o Ensuring documents are collected prior to student arrival.
o Responsible for the custodianship process, including arranging for appointments.
o Ensure the initial Ontario Student Record (OSR) as per OSR regulations are prepared.
o Communicate with all departments regarding new students; Prepare and distribute “prospective” students list at the beginning of each term.
· Responsible for execution of re-enrolment plan.
o Develop strategies to retain returning students.
· Lead the orientation process and committee.
- Assist with open houses, parent nights, school visits, etc. as required.
- Attend open house, fairs and events as required.
- Provide school tours as required.
· Establish healthy relationships and communication with the public.
o Respond to inquiries (i.e. telephone, in person, fax, email) for information in a timely, professional and caring fashion.
o Meet and greet potential students and parents (including guided tours, answering questions, etc.) in an attempt to receive the application form.
o Following up all interested students after events (e.g. fairs, tours and etc.)
· Assisting with the planning and execution of recruitment strategies.
o Establish wide range of integrated networks via the web, social media and other emerging channels.
o Target high-quality students from various cultures and raises the profile of the school.
- Liaison with other departments to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
o Checking and sending work emails daily regarding new notification or updates.
- Communicate and brief marketing information with staff.
· Ensure students are abiding by the Bronte College Code of Behaviour at all times.
o Providing first level discipline as required.
o Bring up repeat cases or very serious incidents to the Head of Student Governance.
o Communicate messages, rules and regulations and school policy with multicultural students.
· To complete any additional duties assigned by the Senior Management.
Working Conditions
· Evening and weekend hours are required for fairs, meetings and open houses.
· Travel may be required.
Minimum Requirements
· University Degree or College diploma.
· Experience using a computer and computer applications required.
· Excellent word processing skills and ability to create spreadsheets.
· Excellent command of the English language.
· Enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
· Previous experience in marketing or admissions is considered an asset.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
